-
Why does some blue clay look green?
The color of blue clay can vary due to its mineral composition. Our blue clay has a greenish tint because of its unique mix of minerals and natural elements found in Alabama’s soil. Despite the color variation, it retains all the beneficial properties of traditional blue clay.

What are the benefits of using blue clay?
Blue clay is packed with minerals like magnesium, calcium, and iron that help cleanse the skin, calm irritation, leave hair feeling refreshed and nourished, and exfoliates the skin for a smoother, brighter appearance.
-
How do I use blue clay?
For skin, apply the pre-mixed clay to clean skin as a mask, avoiding the eye area. Leave it on for 10–15 minutes, then rinse with warm water. For hair, massage the pre-mixed clay into the scalp and hair, focusing on the roots. Leave it for 10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. For skin irritation, apply a thin layer of the pre-mixed clay directly to the affected area. Allow it to dry for 10–15 minutes, then rinse gently with warm water. Use as needed to calm irritation and reduce redness.
-
Is your clay safe for sensitive skin?
Yes, our clay is gentle and suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin. However, we recommend doing a patch test before full application to ensure there’s no irritation.
-
Can I use blue clay every day?
We recommend using blue clay 1–2 times per week for most skin and hair types. Overuse may dry out the skin or scalp, so it’s best to space out applications.
-
How is your blue clay harvested and prepared?
Our blue clay is hand-harvested by our family in Fulton, Alabama. We carefully collect, mix, and jar the clay on-site to preserve its natural purity and ensure every batch is crafted with care.

Does blue clay expire?
When stored properly in a cool, dry place, blue clay has an extremely long shelf life. However, we recommend using it within 12–18 months after opening for optimal freshness.
-
Can I use blue clay for other purposes?
